I woke up this morning, looked out my bedroom window to see 100′s of cyclist riding on the West Coast Highway. Today was the 2010 Singapore Ironman 70.3! Before I get into the statistics, I just want to say that I would have loved to compete in this world class event. Hell, the World Champion, Craig Alexander was here to defend his 2009 victory. This race is only in its fourth season and I am sure after watching the cycling event today; this race is only going to get more popular.

RESULTS:
Australia’s Craig Alexander has WON the Aviva Ironman 70.3 triathlon in Singapore. Alexander was in the lead bunch out of the water and in to T1. South African, James Cunnama made ground on Alexander with a 2:07:36 bike split (0:2:12 faster than Alexander) and put in a fast 1:16:02 half marathon but it was not enough to take out Alexander. Australia’s Aaron Farlow was a further 0:1:12 behind Cunnama and took out 3rd overall.
