Fort Ebey on a Rainy Day!

Fort Ebey on a Rainy Day!

Today was a typical day in Washington state – It was raining! Of course, you know what that means. No dust on the trails and the roots make it much more technical. Today was suppose to be a day of testing the GoPro Camera. Well, the batteries I have are not good enough to run it. So, You get another crappy video with some awesome music. Its only 2 minutes long and there is just a few seconds of actual video from the camera.

It does show me that the camera will work really well in the woods. Looking forward to getting some new batteries as recommended by the GoPro guys and getting back on the trail to take some real footage of what a 43 year old man can still do. Here is the video…

I have to mention that the reason for Spencer trail was that it is by far the most technical trail I’ve riddin’ in Ebey in a long time. Add a little water and this trail is an absolute ball breaker. No really – I felt like I broke my balls on this one. I fell on this one trail 5 times and would have been more except I had to walk most of it.

I sure wished I had the camera running – I would of had some sick wrecks for you. Anyway, I will take the trail again and this time I will have a set of batteries that work with backups!

Enjoy your day and enjoy Fort Ebey on a Rainy Day!

Coupeville To Stanwood Washington 60 Mile Road Ride

Pictures of you! I love Washington and felt the urge to go for a long ride yesterday after spending the last 18 month’s in Houston, Texas. The video attached is a picture video that also shows my Garmin 405 stats. I chose the song because I like The Cure and even today, they still rock. Anyway, enjoy the video!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I got a new camera today! I purchased the “GoPro” – Be a Hero mounted camera. Its going to revolutionize my videos and take them to an all new level. Check out the picture:

What an Inspiring Video!

I just had to post this on the site. I do believe this guy is creating art on the bike. Freeriding is something I’ve been getting more and more interested in.

What do you think – Think a 43 year old man can do this to?

Houston April 17, 2009 Storm Video – Lightning Strike!

Here is the video of the storm we had yesterday and ending today. Cranky don’t like it when the storms come around due to the fact that I have to ride a trainer in the garage! I’d much rather be riding the streets or out on the mountain bike. Here is the video:

I hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend. As for me – I need to pack and get ready to move back to Washington. Where Mountain biking truly is riding in the mountains!
