Pilchuck Tree Farm Teaser Video

I know yesterday I said I was going to wait to give you a video, but I just couldn’t help getting a Pilchuck Tree Farm Teaser Video on the blog! I’m still waiting for Camtasia to come out on the 25th. Give a day or two and I will have the video in its entirety! Here you go…

I also took some pictures of the scenery that surrounds Pilchuck Tree Farm. On a clear day, I can only imagine what the scenery holds. The day I rode, the skies were completely gray and the foggy backdrop blocked a lot from the camera. I think you’ll agree that Pilchuck Tree Farm is a true gem. Check it out and come ride with CrankyBike.

Pilchuck Tree Farm – Tomorrow Not Today!

Pilchuck Tree Farm – Tomorrow Not Today! Yes – its true. Pilchuck Tree Farm will have to wait until the morning. At least I will get to spend about 3-4 hours on the trail in the morning. Oh, I did take the liberty to stop by the local bike shop to try and get a map of the area. I was in luck because they have a one page printout of the area. Its not very detailed, but they sure helpful and friendly. Here is the picture of the bike shop so you’ll know what to look for:

Do yourself a favor and stop by the shop on the way to the trails. They can give you great insight as to the conditions of the trails, directions to the parking areas and just about any other information you may want. Stanwood Velo Sport carries one of my favorite brands of bikes – Trek. Enjoy…

Taking the GoPro with me tomorrow to get some more good shots. This time I will make sure I have the camera set to where you can see more of the trail. I sure will be glad when I get my handlebar / Seat Post Mounting brackets! I also got the chest mounted setup as well. Eventually, I will get a couple more cameras to film multiple views of the same trails and begin to add them all together. Camtasia is finally releasing there Mac version on the 15th which is two more days. I may just wait to create the Pilchuck Tree Farm video until I get the right software to do what I want with the videos I create.

I used to use Camtasia when I had windows. Since I use Mac exclusively now, I’ve been waiting – Three Years! I’ll post some regular pictures tomorrow of the ride and post the video on Sunday or Monday while in New Orleans. Later!
